Legendary Coach Dan Green, who served as Jason Warner’s assistant coach during his playing days at Rock Valley College, has coached thousands of young athletes and is widely considered a Rockford icon in basketball development.

Coach Warner is excited to reunite with his former coach for three days of basketball instruction at the YMCA. Together, they look forward to helping young players grow their skills and love for the game.

This camp is designed for boys and girls of all skill levels. Whether you are new to basketball or already experienced, this camp is for you. Players will work on the fundamentals including ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, and teamwork in a fun and encouraging environment.

Gene Houston & Jason Warner 3-on-3 Basketball Camp – Rockford

Renowned trainer Gene Houston, who has developed athletes from elementary school to high school, college, and even the professional level, has made a tremendous impact on basketball in Rockford and beyond. Known for his leadership, training programs, and commitment to developing young athletes, Gene has helped guide countless players through the game.

Gene Houston will team up with Coach Jason Warner to host an exciting 3-on-3 style basketball camp focused on skill development, decision-making, and competitive play. This camp is designed for 3rd through 6th grade boys and girls who want to learn the game and improve their skills in a fun, structured environment.

Parents and grandparents are welcome to pull up a seat and watch the action — admission to watch is completely free.

Full Court Competitive Basketball Camp – Gene Houston & Jason Warner

Join Gene Houston and Coach Jason Warner for a Full Court Competitive Basketball Camp designed for players ready to compete and grow in a fast-paced environment.

With over 60 combined years of basketball experience, training, and mentorship, Gene Houston and Jason Warner have helped develop athletes from youth levels all the way to high school, college, and beyond. Their passion for the game and commitment to developing young players has impacted the Rockford basketball community for decades.

This one-day competitive camp will focus on full-court play, decision-making, conditioning, and learning how to play the game at different speeds. Players will be encouraged to push their personal boundaries, play fast while thinking slow, and embrace mistakes as part of the learning process.

This camp is ideal for athletes looking for an intermediate to advanced environment where they can challenge themselves and compete.
